What we collect

Only what you type into the forms on Ask us and Claim a listing: your question or listing details, and your email, phone or website if you choose to give them. We also record the time of the submission, your country and your browser type, to filter out spam. Please do not put your child’s name in a form.

How it is used

Submissions are stored in a private database on Cloudflare and emailed to the site owner. We use them to answer you, to correct or update listings, and to spot spam. We do not sell them, do not add you to a mailing list, and do not share them with charter schools or vendors without asking you first. We keep submissions only as long as they are useful, and delete any submission on request.

Analytics and cookies

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other sites. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own.

Listings

Listings come from public sources (charter vendor lists, California Department of Education, CDSS and others, see Sources). We are not affiliated with any listed school, provider or charter. Individual teachers are shown without a name, and any provider can ask to be withheld. To fix, update or remove a listing, use Claim or update and say what you want changed.
